Aircraft are now being manufactured ready-to-fly and FAA-licensed for flight training, rental, and pleasure use.
The FAA and the light aircraft industry expect that the Sport Pilot/Light Sport Aircraft rule will result in the purchase of thousands of new aircraft and the creation of many newly certificated light sport pilots. In addition, it is expected that many currently licensed pilots will return to flying, using their state driver’s license in lieu of a FAA medical certificate.
LAMA expects this new rule to benefit all the light aircraft industry, and potentially thousands of FBO’s around the country.
